  1. ToDo list for FreeDial 0.23

  4. I have only tested FreeDial with two providers with similar login procedures.
  5. I like to know if FreeDial covers every possible login procedure. The things I
  6. specifically want to know are:

  8. Is it sufficient to just replace the resboot file with the current settings,
  9. or do people need additional lines in this file to remain after ResConf?
  10.  
  11. Are nameserver IP addresses identical for a provider, or should they be tied
  12. to the location or even account?
  13.  
  14. Add more standard configurations. Can anyone who has added a working
  15. configuration for:
  16. - Internet Service Provider
  17. - scripts for other TCP/IP stack than FreeNet or AcornDCI4
  18. - modemdriver
  19. send it to me?
  20.  
  21. Test the dial-back support. Can anyone send me an example login for a
  22. dial-back login?

  24. The password encoding can't handle 8 bit chars, should it?
  25.  
  26. Any ASCII 23 characters sent are replaced by a 1 sec. delay, should I
  27. bother to include an escape sequence for sending code 23?
  28.  
  29. Dynalink modems refuse to hang up after dropping the DTR line. The AT&D1
  30. command does not seem to work in my modem driver. If anyone can make a
  31. modemdriver which makes Dynalink modems hangup after killing the driver
  32. module, please send it to me.
